The staff at the Forensics Mentors Institute understands the students' need for a little rest and relaxation during the summer. After spending the first few weeks of their summer working diligently in the laboratory, the students have the opportunity to spend a fun day playing in Alverthorpe Park located in Jenkintown, PA. The park provides baseball fields, basketball courts, a miniture golf course, and walking paths around the lake. The staff dutifully makes the students a picnic lunch under the large pavilion. After lunch, a kickball game of students versus mentors is organized.
