Our Programs

Through the Forensics Mentors Institute (FMI) summer program we provide opportunities for students in schools with limited resources, or who are ready for additional academic and leadership challenges, to be immersed in real research and experience personal growth and development.  Students work as part of a team to solve scientific problems and learn about the opportunities available for a career in science.

Under our partnership with Arcadia University, we teach, manage and provide course content to the largest FEPAC accredited forensic science Masters Degree program in the United States.  Our students are exposed to a strong academic program with intensive hands on laboratory experience in forensic biology, toxicology and chemistry.

The Center for Forensic Science Research and Education houses our programs for continuing professional development for forensic scientists, providing updates, testimony skills development, cross-discipline training,  forensic information science tools and strategies and training in forensic science principles for police, attorneys and officers of the court.   It also houses facilities with state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation, supporting grant-funded research, method validation and academic scholarship.

We offer programs for high school teachers which provide them with tools to teach basic science principles through forensic science examples and illustrations.   These lessons help excite students about science and bring home its everyday importance and impact on our lives.
